I think its easier and charges faster when you shoot the orb, before I would throw out the orb and it wouldn’t charge all the way when shooting allys, when shooting enemies it would barely charge. Then I discovered that you can just shoot the orb and thats what I’ve been doing ever since.

I think what may often happen in the middle of the chaos and fireworks is that the orbs center is often a very stable and stagnant target, and if the goal is to heal you already know u can shoot it and thus it heals all within.

When to shoot the orb: Starting an engagement with your team from afar, sometimes it's easier to hit the orb instead of those behind cover. Healing yourself, outside the teamup her orb is really the only actual self heal she has When to shoot those in it: Any time not listed above XD
