there's way more nuance to cheating than people would like to believe. I get that it hurts, I've been cheated on and never cheated, but the reality is some people cheat because they're inherently disloyal, and some people cheat because they're unhappy and don't realize it until that opportunity is in front of them and they can't resist it. they should come clean and break up if that happens, but it's not inherently evil or inherently a part of your character

I had a pastor say to me, once you’ve opened the door to something you know is wrong, it never fully shuts all the way. The temptation comes on stronger and it’s easier to fall back. Yes, a cheater can not cheat again but that takes intentional effort and putting boundaries in place for yourself to never be in that position again

This is a very adult conversation. But I definitely think it’s still hard for adults to have. You can tell by the comments, that some are offended by what he said. We also have this expectation that everyone is the same, so if someone does this or that it is the same reason why another person does it. Which is furthest from the truth. All I got from this clip was that he was being very transparent.

Dude skipped over that he got caught. If he never got caught he prob woulda kept doing it. People only learn those hard lessons not right after they cheat but once the repercussions already happened. So once a cheater always a cheater is true.

I have cheated and been cheated on. I have also been in relationships where I didnt cheat. once a cheater always a cheater... yes... as once a addict always an addict. but it doesn't mean the person will cheat on everyone or even on the same person again. it just means that it is easier for them to slip up and harder for them to stay true. but it is possible for a cheater to never cheat again just as some addicts never go back. but it is a chance that their partner takes so the "cheater" should let the partner knew their past and have the choice to be with them or not with that knowledge.
