I did the wings in one layer(up close they are VERY detailed) and i had no storage left, so every day was a gamble and it took two months to finish just the wings🫠

sometimes i render my portraits in only one layer or sometimes i just do it element per element (bangs, eyes, face, accessories, everything has it’s own layer lol)

I used to have at least 50 layers for different parts to color and render, now I just merge the layers when I finished one coloring part, if I missed anything I just add above it like painting irl
