Imo Miku Nakano deserved to win not because of fandom bias, not because of temporary popularity or pity, but because narratively, emotionally, and thematically she was the most coherent ending for Gotoubun no Hanayome. Her victory wasn't just 'what many wanted' - it was what best completed the story from its deepest core: personal growth, silent love, and the value of changing for yourself. From the beginning, Miku was presented as the most closed-off, the most insecure, and the least expressive. While the other quints had strong or outgoing personalities, Miku lived in an internal world dominated by doubts, fear of rejection, and fragile self-esteem. And that's the first key point: her arc didn't start from love, but from fear. Miku didn't start loving with confidence; she started fearing she wasn't enough. And precisely because of that, her evolution is the most powerful of all. Miku didn't try to win Fuutarou from a place of comfort. Every small step forward cost her enormous effort. Talking to him, looking him in the eyes, confessing her feelings, competing with her sisters... all of these were internal battles she fought alone. She didn't use tricks, emotional advantages, or forced situations. She fell in love honestly and suffered in silence, reflecting a love much more real than someone who acts confidently from the start. Plus, Miku is the only one whose transformation doesn't revolve solely around Fuutarou. She changes for herself. She learns to cook not to be chosen, but to feel capable.
