I think you’re brilliant but the KC analysis on this one is missing the mark for me. KC didn’t didn’t “discard” Aniya bc of pent up entitlement to her body. He “discarded” Aniya bc of pent up feelings around him feeling obligated to reassure her frequently and not feeling desired. Now, should he have processed those things? Absolutely. But yeah the analysis doesn’t feel accurate to what his core issues were.

KC constantly smiled or laughed when he saw Aniya hurt.. even durning early convos when she was asking him how he felt, she was confused and distressed and he couldn’t resist smiling as if he enjoyed her pain.. i see right through it.. So no one was behind his door early on… and he should take it out on another?? Can’t stand him.

Big red flag for me, beginning of the end, was the big bed blindfolded challenge. Aniya was so considerate of KC, not kissing anyone and stopping when she found him. KC took that generosity with pride and returned it with a shit joke to make her feel lesser, after he saw she would put him first.

One of the earlier red flags that does seem to be overlooked with sincere is how he talks about the other girls, particularly the ones he doesn’t like (Kenzie, sol, at times Melanie) . Him and Zach are both very quick to clock and hold the girls to a standard he doesn’t have for any of the guys. Having their partners in ways follow their lead and even at times discarding their friends to please their guys . It’s an early manipulation tactic than can be used to see where your boundaries are and how far they can go. How you let them talk about your friends/ other girls in the beginning will be how they talk to and about you later down the road.
