I am trying to see it as a long game social experiment in trying to wake us all up to how terrible trying to play out the stereotypical roles in modern dating is destroying us. It’s a mirror to our culture and dysfunction. This is what we are taught to aspire to be and to want in relationships. And it’s truly horrifying.
