If you don’t like it, don’t read/watch it — but if we don’t read it then we’re told lies about its contents that the author herself has confirmed (there’s no 🍇; she likes it in the end so it all works out 🤮) 2. “I am 🍇 victim and this work healed me.” I understand that the later plot of the book deals with hunting and eliminating preds. I think this becomes complex when we acknowledge that the female lead ends up with her 🍇ist. That’s literally our issue and I survived too. 3. “Other media that features 🍇 already exists” but does it romanticize it? Does she end up with him?? Again, this is not a good argument. 4. “It shows the real world” then why are you thirsting over a 🍇ist? 5. “It’s fiction just like dragons and magical powers” — I thought yall said it’s the real world? “It won’t have impact” we are a media-centric society…media impacts everything! 6. “Don’t talk about it then if you don’t like it” you sound like your male counterparts, ladies. “Shut up I don’t like what you have to say?” Oh really??
