Just because George was right, his harsh tone and lack of emotional intelligence didn't make it right for the way he communicated. In the end, he would've been to Yukari what the other men in his mother's life were. While he did have affection towards Yukari to some degree, looking as someone in her twenties, I can say that he did take advantage of Yukari's teenage eagerness and lack of independence while hating her clingness. He wanted to have his cake and eat it too. Just because he wasn't abusive doesn't make him any less of a red flag and toxic.
