Having that many anti psychotics,anti depressants, anti anxiety and sleep medication in such a short period of time, THE DOCTORS NEED TO BE HELD LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING SHE DID IN THAT ROUGHLY 6-8 WEEK TIME SPAN!

I always make sure the first thing I say is that I have PTSD and that I cannot do medication. They will try to drown you in prescriptions.

WTF 😭 I had heard of this case. When people say women are NOT heard THIS is what we mean. She actively sought help, involved her family, tried to get herself admitted, told everyone what and how she was feeling. Slow to.helo, Yet quick to prosecute 😭

This exact thing happened to me. I had my first baby via c-section and this started shortly after. I couldn’t sleep at all like my brain wouldn’t turn off even if I looked sleep. I was crying and taking trips to the ER on base and the doctor was mad at me for coming back. They called it baby blues and was thinking about putting me in a psych ward. I got a therapist at home and started seeing one on base. The episode happened again and my husband threatened to leave me. My mom took me to a hospital off base and I told them everything. They gave me a shot and said you’re slipping into psychosis because of sleep deprivation. I slept hours in there and when I woke up and realized I was in tears. My therapist worked with them and prescribed sleep and anxiety meds. I took them until I felt myself getting better. Everyday I’m grateful that the other doctors took me serious. Postpartum sleep deprivation turning into psychosis is something sooooo many of us experience.
