it probably varies by person as to why they ran away. could be they don't think they could follow through if they saw you, could be they're afraid of the pain of actually breaking off something in person, could be they weren't as attached, could be something else

I've only failed so I do not know of this pain yet. My pain & my wound is that the people who I've loved never knew I loved them. They chose to ignore or were simply unaware is the question I ask myself. Perhaps in a different life, at a different time, they'd choose to see me, know me, understand me, ask me. Some of us have been doomed to not being loved, yet we're hopeful that one day, it may change. That hope keeps me alive...

"Why is it so easy for them to abandon me?" on loop, and "Did they mean for it to hurt me like this?". It's like someone randomly hitting you with a bull whip, ESPECIALLY at night.

it depends on the person... I've known a lot of people who have acted out real crazy when broken up with so don't do it out of fear in a way... but in other instances I do see what you saying for sure

I always viewed it as cowardice. They know they’re hurting you by breaking up and instead of facing that head on and being respectful, they take the easy way out by breaking up over phone/text
