there's so many reasons: 1. she felt responsible to fix her sister's mistakes. she is guilt driven, she blamed herself for creating jinx and felt personally responsible to stop her 2. Caitlyn and jinx were going to fight to the death. cait said one of them would end up in a box and vi couldn't sit and watch the two people she loved kill each other, so she had to involve herself 3. she was the one that asked Caitlyn to call off the invasion. she saw what her not having a badge caused in the memorial. people died and she could've prevented it. she didn't want the same thing to happen in the undercity so she joined 4. she was literally doing what Vander said. about how no one wins in war. she was doing everything in her power to live by her adoptive Dad's teaching and prevent a war at all costs. it's literally supposed to parallel Vander making deals with Grayson for peace 5. headcanon reason. I feel maybe she was the only person that knew around the undecity well enough. so maybe she could navigate them to where she felt the hideouts were. like how she took them to where jinx stayed.
