hes not telling a full truth here. A human reviews every peice of code at anthropic that the ai makes. Purely PR because having the humans develop like normal would be a lot cheaper

they realized AI can’t replace engineers so the new buzzword is ‘Agentic”, one bot is unreliable so just run 9 other bots to supervise its work in a 3 hr loop, who cares if it costs $5000 to ship a basic feature

I used claude to write something, and I asked it to add a small feature and it over complicated the solution by adding a new method with an additional for loop which would basically mean iterating across my data twice when it could have done it once. so instructed it to add the component to my primary loop and only iterate once, it agreed and rewrote the code to be better, but it just goes to show, you cannot let it just push out code unsupervised, it will ruin your company.
