for everyone who doesn’t wanna watch the explanation: lip balms just made your lips dryer. your lips gets addicted to the balms like nicotine and when you don’t reapply it, the lips would get dry faster like you feel a withdrawal when you’re away from nicotine. BASICALLY lip balms worsen your lips to make you keep buying more of the products

I honestly feel so uncomfortable when I have to use one. it just doesn't click with me with the texture and gets me a bit overwhelmed. I was told I was autistic because of it and few other stuff but I was never diagnosed at all.

Basically because your lips barely make oil and the lipbalm gives them a temporary layer that feels hydrating even though its not. Eventually your lips might get dependent on the lipbalm and they get even drier if you dont keep applying it

I watched the explanation and basically: lip balm makes your lips dryer, your only feeling the smooth cause it’s a coating. When you stop using the balm your lips get very chapped so you continue to apply it but it really does nothing to help.

I truly believe this because I don't usually use lipbalm and my lips don't crack, not even when it's cold; it's VERY rare for that to happen. Now, if I use lipbalm, it seems like 2 minutes later my lips are already tearing.
