@thehenryfamily_: One thing motherhood has taught me is that quality time doesn’t always look the same. 🙌🏾 As our children grow, the way we connect with them changes too. In this season, slowing down with my 14-year-old for a simple skincare routine has become one of my favorite ways to spend time together. A.J. is my firstborn son, my husband’s junior, and if I’m being honest… he’s always been a daddy’s boy at heart. 😂 I know everyone talks about mama’s boys, but this one has always looked up to his dad. That just means I have to be intentional about creating moments that are ours. Moments where we’re talking, laughing, learning, and just being together. These teenage years come with so many changes, and teaching him how to care for his skin is just another way I get to pour into him. It’s never just about the products, it’s about the conversations that happen while we’re using them and reminding him that taking care of yourself matters.
