Princess Sihle Mdluli is a Swati royal from the Mawewe Royal Family in Mpumalanga who became the fourth wife of Zulu King Misuzulu kaZwelithini. Princess Sihle Mdluli, also referred to as Ndlunkulu Sihle kaMawewe Zulu, is the daughter of Inkhosi Khulile Mkhatshwa of the Mawewe Traditional Authority. The Mawewe people are remnants of the Ndwandwe Kingdom, with cultural traditions heavily influenced by the Swati people. King Misuzulu kaZwelithini solidified his union with Princess Sihle by paying lobola at a traditional ceremony in Mgobodzi village, Mpumalanga. The event was heavily attended by both Zulu and Swati delegations, marking her formal entrance into the Zulu royal family as Queen.
