What mower would you recommend for maintaining a rough 4.5acre property? Would like to get commercial grade because we are on a farm and have very thick grass/weeds and very rough/uneven ground.

Best spindle in the industry if serviced properly. Greaseable cast iron housing with tapered bearings.

They are all overpriced and assembled by disgruntled, underpaid line workers. So dealers end up with units that are not even ready to go when they receive them. Just adds to the PDI time and cost the dealers more time and money. Miss the days when companies had an aspect of pride associated with their business model instead of all about pure profits. It’s literally every industry now days not just this one, everything is getting bought out and bundled into giant mega corps and everything gets dictated by the board members and Shareholders etc.

I bought a Ferris 17 years ago. Put the Meg-Mo blade system on it, and it’s smooth as can be. Blades are 15 years old, still like new, and yes I have mole hills. I wouldn’t replace it with anything else. 🇺🇸

I have had nothing but issues out of my scag. Mostly engine but it stays with wrenches in it more than it has mowed
