Nine Couples Receive Marriage Blessings in a colorful Mass Wedding in Essam District. As part of the Church’s commitment to strengthening Christian marriages and unleashing families to become agents of transformation in society, the Essam District of The Church of Pentecost, Essam-Debiso Area, marked its Second District Week Celebration with a Marriage and Family Life Week from Tuesday, 14th to Sunday, 19th July 2026. As part of the week-long activities, a Family Life Seminar was held on Friday, 17th July 2026, attracting hundreds of church members and non-members. The seminar, facilitated by Lawyer Bismark Oduro of Sunyani, focused on Family Life and Property Acquisition, covering key topics such as family and personal property ownership, as well as will preparation. Participants were equipped with practical and legal knowledge to help build stronger and more secure families. The highlight of the celebration came on Saturday, 18th July 2026, when nine couples solemnized and received blessings over their marriages at the Essam Central Auditorium in a colourful mass wedding ceremony. Elegantly dressed in Men’s Ministry and Women’s Ministry attire, the couples exchanged their marriage vows under the administration of the Essam District Minister, Pastor Henry Takyi. The ceremony was filled with joy as the congregation erupted in songs of praise and celebration, rejoicing with the couples on their special day. The Essam-Debiso Area Head, Apostle Frank Awuah Fordjour, pronounced God’s blessings upon the newly wedded couples and encouraged them to remain steadfast in the Lord, love one another unconditionally, and build homes that exemplify Christ’s love and righteousness. Delivering the sermon, Pastor John Dautey, District Minister for Debiso, preached on the theme, “Can Two Walk Together Unless They Agree?” (Amos 3:3). He emphasized the importance of unity, mutual understanding, and agreement as the foundation for a successful and God-centred marriage.
