My mother has a set of hooks on the wall. A collar for every dog we've lost hangs there, no matter how long they were ours. I don't think I could re-use a dog collar.

crying because my old man may still be here for now but I know that when he's not his hair will be everywhere. I find his hair on my friends who have never met him so I can only imagine the fact that I'll probably be finding his hair for years after he's gone

I still have my childhood cat's bed stored on a shelf in a closed room. no other of my cats are allowed to even touch it. it's covered in her fur inside and out. my other cats have plenty of other beds though.

I have a shadow box. It has it favourite toy, collar and leash. It’s my favourite thing. I even cut off some fur before he passed so I have that in a separate box. I miss my baby
