@theasherhouse: Velveteen Update ❤️ Hi everyone, I wanted to give you an update on Velveteen. First of all, please ignore her dirty cone. 😂 She had just finished a large bowl of delicious wet food, and let’s just say she enjoyed every bite. She’s continuing to fight, and little by little she’s taking baby steps in the right direction. Sara has been visiting her, and the entire veterinary team has been spoiling her with so much love while giving her the very best care imaginable. She hasn’t made any huge leaps forward yet, but she does seem to be slowly improving. Most importantly, she’s not getting worse, and right now we’re incredibly grateful for that. She’s now been at the hospital for a week, aside from the one night she came home before needing to be taken back the following morning. As long as she continues moving in the right direction today, we’re hopeful we’ll be able to bring her home this evening. We’ll keep you posted every step of the way. Once again, I can’t thank you all enough for the incredible love and support you’ve shown—not just for Velveteen, but for our entire Asher House family. We truly are in this together, and we’ll get through this together. Please continue to keep Velveteen in your thoughts and prayers. We love you all so much, and we’re grateful to have this amazing community beside us. ❤️
