I'm an immigrant, my own family is made of immigrants and the saddest part is that many in my family (very involved in church) voted for this president who not only give orders to kill immigrants but whoever defends them. THANK YOU FOR SPEAKING OUT!!

I was baptized Catholic and attended Catholic Churches when I was young. My family was also friends with a lot of Christians. When life was still “good”, everything seemed fine. Once my family’s luck had turned and we fell on hard times, people we thought were our friends turned their backs on us. While trying to piece my life back together, I met a Persian girl. Love at first sight I guess you could say. Her family were Muslim of course. As our relationship developed, they were so welcoming and kind to me. Even offered to help my family. I will never forget their kindness and generosity.
