Hear me out. It doesn’t belong on everything. However, when used correctly, and not overdone, it enhances the flavor of chocolate, and balances out the flavor. That’s why salt is added to recipes in general. I agree a lot of bakers overdo it. My family says the same thing, yet they devour any cookie recipe I put in front of them. Many of the flavors, have a hint of maldon salt. 💙
