Thanks for the comparison. She mentioned things as contradicting the Old Testament. Actually, the Qur'aan corrects them. In other words, the Qur'aan removes the added things Otherwise adds the missing ones, not contradicts them. The Qur'an says "Fii Tis'a Ayaat", meaning "nine miracles or signs". They were miracles or signs to convince the Pharao and his followers. The nine miracles do not mean nine plagues.

The Prophet Muhammad migrated from Kedar Mekka to Tema Madinah which has a mountain called Sela. These places are mentioned in Isaiah 21:13-17. When the Prophet Muhammad migrated to Madinah, its inhabitants offered him and followers water, food and shelter. After a year, the disbelievers of Quraish from Mekka (Kedar) fought the Muslims from Madinah (Tema). The people of Mekka lost their power and fame to the people of Tema. Finally, the Prophet Muhammad opened Bacca (Psalm 84:6) with 10000 of his believers as mentioned in Deuteronomy 33:2 "10000 of the holy ones."

Ishmael lived in Paran according to Genesis 21:20-21. According to Biblical geography, Paran is the Arabian Pininsula. Ishmael married two wives. He divorced the first and married the second from the tribe of Jurhum who were Arab descendents. Therefore, the Children of Ishmael were Arabs. Kedar and Tema who were Ishmael sons are names of two regions in Arabia.

She took the first half of the verse to serve her perspective. She hid the rest of the verse. The people who were reading the scripture were converts to Islam. Since, the Prophet received the truth in the revelation from the Lord God, he did not have have to doubt. He ought not to be a doubter when Allah told him not be among the doubters. He was guided to all truth. Having doubts leads to misguidance. What is after guidance is misguidance. What she did was like what the people of the scripture do. Some Bible verses refer to the Book of Jasher? Where is the book of Jasher?

If you Quran copied the Old Testament, why did not the Qur'aan copy as it was written? The Qur'aan does not copy the errors and mistakes in the Bible, but it corrects them.
