Set in 1990s Hollywood, it gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the film industry while reminding you that chasing your dream is rarely as glamorous as it seems. Charity was easy to root for. Her determination, kindness, and resilience kept me invested, even when everything seemed to be going wrong. I also loved all of the ’90s references and the insider Hollywood details. I loved her and Kai together but just wished the relationship had more depth. Overall, this is a fun read/listen. Who doesn’t love an underdog story?
