As someone who always sells very cheap because I just need to get rid of it without it ending up in a landfill. I LOVE this for you! I don’t have the time to do this myself and I don’t need the extra money either. I’m so glad people take good care of things so they can live on 🥰

A year ago, I sold a bag on Vinted for the first time. It was an original COACH bag that I’d been given as a birthday gift. It was brand new and had never been used, but it just wasn’t my style. The original price was almost £300, and I listed it for £220, hoping to use the money to buy a bag that I truly loved. A single mum contacted me. She had recently graduated and wanted to buy the bag as both her graduation gift and a push present to herself. She told me she loved it but couldn’t justify spending £220 because, as a single mother, she already had so many responsibilities. She offered £180, but after hearing her story, I decided to sell it to her for just £130 out of kindness. That was less than half the original retail price and far below what I’d listed it for. Seeing how much it meant to her was worth far more than the extra money. Fast forward a year, and we’re now close friends. She is one of the strongest women I’ve ever met. I support her and her child however I can, just as she supports me. Life as a single parent is hard enough without people judging every decision. Please let people do what works best for them, especially when they’re not harming or scamming anyone. Most people are simply trying to earn a little extra to support themselves and their families. Kindness costs nothing, but it can change someone’s life. ❤️

The people that ruin vinted in my opinion are the people who buy new stuff purely to resell it at a higher price, for example someone buying a $5 shirt off of shein and then selling it for $10

Why on earth are you ruining vinted??? I’m so confused. If people wanted to clean up the items to sell them for higher prices they would. When I sell on vinted I sell at super low prices as I want it gone. If someone wants to buy my stuff make it better and sell it on I support that 1000% I get paid, you get paid and someone gets what they want in the condition they want it in… everyone’s a winner 🎉

You’ve done someone a favour buying their dirty “no good” shoes as they have ££ - more than likely to pay their bills, then you’ve cleaned them up super good, sold them to pay your bills and then someone gets to wear nice and shoes🤷🏼♀️idk what the big deal is
