Differential equations are literally introductory mathematics. I’m from England so I don’t know the American system but you’d do a differential equation at like age 17-18 the year before university and then at university they would do it again to make sure you know it

EQ= 0 is not true at all. There are lots of eccentrics in the math department and those people are often the smartest of all, but they do not go into quant

Salary’s a bit exaggerated. sign-on bonus massively inflates 0 YOE numbers. A package might look like 200 base + 100 bonus + 125 sign-on for a 0 yoe tc of 425 but it drops after 1 yoe
