I mean it’s “classier” purely in the aesthetics is it not? Strippers fashion is fast and sharp while burlesque is more aesthetically luxurious and slow, but that’s not to say one is somehow better or ACTUALLY “classier” than the other, so I think this is just a communication error and people having different definitions/implications of “class” (for SOME people, I’m sure many men saying that genuinely ARE trying to demean strippers)

I dunno y’all 💅🏻 pretty sure it’s a job. A fun job! Pretty sure I’m still stripping personally at a pro level with trained olympians. Strippers are some of the most athletic people I know! Some of us are actually broadway performers and former pro athletes. Both forms require training and skills that the average person could not just pick up easily. It may not be for everyone and that is okay as far as acceptance and taste. Classy is subjective and based off of who you ask. I love both.
