The only way to make a above ground pool not look cheap is to build a wooden deck around it, and then add plants.

I wrapped mine in bamboo reed. Still need to add some ferns in between the solar lights, and add a gravel section to put lounging chairs and a projector. Slowly but surely coming along 😁

Unless those lines are *perfect* which will be tricky on the sides of a pool like that, I fear the stripes might come off as DIY and a bit shaky. It looks SOOOO good right now, I’d honestly look into doing some landscaping at the bottom to make it blend really well, or pavers and do something like a mosaic on those, and just accessories the rest of the area with the cabana stripe!

i feel like the only way to actually make it look good is to build an enclosure around it with stairs up to a little raised deck area using wood/composite, anything else is just going to look tacky 😭
