As an excursion owner, it's gonna ride like shit no matter what you do. I'm convinced that doing a coil spring conversion is the only way to help out that ride quality. I've got those same rancho shocks on my truck. A new set of tires helped a noticable amount, but it still rides and handles like a boat on choppy water.
