For anyone curious, there are are a few companies now that sell LEDs that are meant to mimic the warmth of the old incandescent Christmas lights. They do a pretty darn good job. Vintaglo is what I went with, but there are others.

I bought these lights 2 years ago, and allowed my mom and siblings to come over to decorate while I cooked dinner....the nostalgia was toooo damn much. I cried, my mama cried, sister was crying, my lil brother thought we were crazy.. 😂.

those are different to the sound that is playing. they have the chip i believe Mr Christmas had. you do have a interesting set there. most of these have 3 1/2 channels meaning the 4th flashes between 3 and 1. it kinda messes with the chasing flow. yours actually does all 4 channels correctly. when I converted mine to LED I just connected the 3 channels.
