@ted.tests.it: Where should I install my Tesla charger? ⚡️ I've narrowed it down to three locations in my garage, but each has its pros and cons. If you own a Tesla (or an EV), comment A, B, or C—and tell me WHY. I'm hoping to get this right before my Model Y arrives. Follow along as I figure out charging, accessories, and what it's really like switching from my F-150 to a Tesla. #Tesla #TeslaModelY #EVLife #TeslaOwner #GarageSetup
But also think about it, Tesla backs in the garage for you.

I back into the garage every time anyway, but ours is in the location C for you. it's right near our breaker panel and the cable length is still enough so I can park nose-in and charge. cable storage near the garage door would annoy me at location A

Option C and paint parking stripes on the ground so your Tesla can back itself into the parking spot.

We only 2 teslas I have one in front of garage and one in the back. The one in front is more flexible as far as position of car so def A. With A I can have my car in the driveway and still charge

Keep in mind... depending on how you wire in your charger, the site could double as a potential hookup point for a portable generator

The cable is 24 foot long, so it won't be as big of a deal as you think.

A. We have our charger just inside our garage and have the cord hanging on the outside of the garage because we don’t use our garage for cars.

Matt Laduke :
Install it in the ceiling directly above the car. Hang the cord and charge when back in or forward in. Also keeps the cord off the floor, so you don’t have to step over at walking out the garage door every time.
