I believe these rude interactions happen because of the fact that since Monsterverze has a story, character’s are supposed to go through character development and actually develop relationships with other characters. Eventually Skella will grow to like Maia but they’re just not there yet. And some characters ( and people) are just mean. It’s honestly realistic (sad but true nonetheless.) but I enjoy it I believe the characters would become stale if they were all nice.

I hate every npc in that game because I feel like their personality are over exaggerated. I can handle Skella being rude and sassy and Maia being the more shy girl but OMG the only thing I hate about Skella is if you give back the same energy to Skella you lose points. Maia is always stuttering and needs basically help for everything like yeah I get she supposed to be the easily frightened but it’s like they’re just reducing her to this poor girl who can’t do anything. Also khalil is just an accessory for Skella and doesn’t really have anything else going on for him in my opinion. Maybe I’m being too judgmental since the game is still developing but I really hope they add more to their personality and characteristics in general
