@celebritygist_1: President Traoré: ‘Burkina Faso Will Never Adopt Sharia Law’ Burkina Faso’s President Ibrahim Traoré has declared that the country will never adopt Sharia law, stressing that every citizen has the constitutional right to practice their religion freely, regardless of faith. “I am a Muslim, but everyone in Burkina Faso has the right to practice their own religion. There will never be Sharia law in this country,” the president said. Traoré also issued a stern message to Burkinabè citizens studying Sharia law in Saudi Arabia, urging them not to return to the country. “Instead of acquiring technological knowledge and skills that can help develop our country, you chose to study Sharia law. Stay where you are—you won’t be allowed back here,” he said.
