hated each time because they treat you as a body not a person. I had just got my arm injected birth control and they tore my bandages off and let me bleed for three days and were rough taking vitals and refused to give in help.

i had a girl that would shit and piss herself. she was catatonic she didn’t speak, we all (nurse and tech’s included) extremely concerned as she would “see” something and start screaming. well we found out her parents brought her, which just added to the confusion. we were bunk mates (this place one room had 4 beds closest to the station which come to find out was the “crazy room” yea i was in there lmao) she came into the bathroom while i was showering, i let her in as we were all trying to be nice to her as we had a other girl that was trying to run fades, play imma kill you music, etc and the techs loved that girl. back to me, she pisses herself. i’m butt ass naked in the shower and she’s standing right over the drain in the middle of the room. i go “it’s ok, i’m done i’ll go get someone” then she puts her finger over her mouth and goes shhhh it’s ok and walks towards me like a fuckin zombie giggling. i’m backed against the wall and i hear another mate who was awesome. i yelled for help which stopped her before she touched me and i ran. that whole situation was incredibly traumatic. that’s only a small story of that 10 day hell

God I hated being locked in the psych hospital. It gave me a fear of being chained/locked up. If someone tries to lock me in a car I hyperventilate. I have to be free.

I'm not sure what kind of hospital you were at but none of that would have been allowed, including smoking, would have been allowed. What state are you in? My state has a posted government holiness you can call when you believe your rights are being violated. Have you seen a lawyer? Seems like the hospital has a huge liability. I'm so sorry for all the things you have been through.

Yes. I cry every time i go. They have to drug the fuck out of me to calm me down. I’ve had people threaten me, it always smelling horrible. I hate that place
