I wouldn’t say miles wins bc his powers are better. The movie actually tries to avoid that. He still only escaped the spider ppl by the skin of his teeth with his own powers. He actually wins bc of his ideology of not conforming to standards forced on him, a relatable struggle that we all desire to overcome. We see this in his escape from the spider ppl, that ideology inspired spider byte (the blue spider girl who uses VR) to not shut off the Go Home Machine, so he could get away. Without that, he would’ve been caught, even with his powers, but she was inspired by miles choosing his own path among the pressure so helped him.
