First I'd check the copyright on the ferry. Second, central America works on it's own time table and ways of doing things. I've been told several times "We don't have xyz" when they mean they don't have it TODAY (maintenance, operator issue, etc.). Ferries, buses, attractions, etc. especially if it's not a tourist heavy area. Even if it is, 💩 happens.
