statistically, according to palworld math, with a 33% catch chance, you either have to throw 1 or 700. no one knows, not even the game.

Not really how independent probability works. Each sphere is still a separate 33% chance. The actual odds of catching it at least once in three throws are 1 - (0.67 to the third power) or roughly 70%, meaning there’s still about a 30% chance you don’t catch it after all three spheres.
