Harry is exactly what Charlotte wanted he just wasn’t physically it, all Charlotte ever wanted was to be loved and have children and be a mother and harry loved that girl like no other man could (and they’re a very passionate couple so even though he’s not conventionally attractive Charlotte became attracted to him)

What I took away was she planned her whole life and waht it should look like then finally got it. And it wasn’t what she imagined ,worse she wasn’t happy bc she overlooked things she couldn’t see bc she saw her “perfect” man. That kind of disappointment is soul crushing. With Harry it was true love. You have expectations and boundaries. What you invison him to look like and all. But with Harry all of it faded away bc it wasn’t superficial or meant to paint a perfect picture! She could be herself. Set boundaries and then change them. bc the girls were all still figuring it out whether they wanted to admit it or not.

she definitely settled bc she had to convert to a new religion & then we saw that harry didn't even take it seriously after all the work she put in. Like Miranda said "your true self is an Episcopalian". Not turning off the game when she cooked for him, not to mention they met bc he was her lawyer & that has to be a breach of professionalism. Like no they just made her run around beg for that man when season 1 charlotte would've never settled for any of this or changed herself for a man. She was acting like Carrie- how Carrie was always changing herself around big, when we all know Charlotte isn't like that. Just proving that women have to give some part of themselves away to be happy while men get to stay the same & be mediocre.
