Confidence is tricky for many…most have insecurities especially physically. Personally…I’m 100% confident in who I am as a person and also in the type of partner I know myself to be. If you’re insecure within your relationship then maybe seek relationship counselling/resources and communicate it w/your partner. I’ll have zero issues ensuring my partner feels safe and secure…I’ll be extremely loving and nurturing w/my person. Partners will fight/have disagreements…the important part is how you fight. If you’re emotionally mature, love and respect each other, you’ll understand that it’s you 2 against the problem. You work together to solve it…no yelling, no name calling, no blaming the other and not owning your sht. Almost any issue is fixable as long as you both want it, communicate effectively and respectfully. I’ll add that I’ve not ever had this type of relationship. Being single for as long as I have, learning myself, reflecting on past relationships, evolving etc, has made me realize what has been missing, what I want and need. As far as “providing”…I want an equal partnership. That will look differently for everyone. I dont mean splitting costs exactly 50/50 etc. I mean we’re both contributing to our relationship in ways that work for both and potentially our household. If you actually find your person, you’re gonna do what you can to protect and cherish them and your relationship
