the first way states: "whatever changes, is changed by something else. this chain of changers cannot go forever, so it must stop somewhere: the first mover, which is god." i have a few problems. first of all, "whatever changes is changed by something else" is intuitive, but its not really proven. this is not my main objection, just something i wanna notice. second, "first mover" doesnt imply "the christian god". the first mover can be a natural process, or something thats not the christian god, or even multiple gods. why cant it be three gods working together? third, "change" implies time, but time is a property of our universe. something cant change without time. so anything that changes anything above our universe cannot be true. objections to the other four arguments in replies↓

Aristotle said whatever is moved is moved by another, i believe that there is a God due to this sole fact. You can’t move something with nothing, therefore there needs to be a uncreated being to start the movement, if nothing is such as God, a uncreated being, then what would start the first move? Simplfied Since everything moved is moved by another, there cannot be only moved things without an ultimately uncaused mover. Therefore there must exist an Unmoved Mover, which Aquinas identifies as God.

1)Why can’t the chain of movers go on forever? Why can’t we accept a regression to infinity? 2)The universe is not fine tuned for life and this is just false. There are trillions of planets and as of now only the earth has shown life. If it was really fine tuned for life, life should have been more abandoned. Also a living being can only be aware of universe where life is possible, because if the universe wasn’t good at sustaining life we wouldn’t be here to experience it. The universe being luckily capable of sustaining life is a necessity for us asking the question. 3)I mostly agree on the third point
