I think cheating is honestly too far. I think it’s general mistreatment, inconsideration , lack or emotional maturity, and unequal division of labor whether it’s physical or emotional and even financial responsibility now being split 5050 or even sometimes the woman is the bread maker and still expected to do labor. Cheating is an extreme it’s all these little things that are making parenting with men not worth it.

In the 90s and 2000s it was somehow just accepted that men have no control over their actions when a woman flirts with them or propositions them. They were never blamed for cheating -- it was the other woman's fault for messing with someone else's man. It sounds crazy to say out loud now but it was absolutely 100% true and widely accepted.

Cheating used to be a shameful thing for a woman. She’d wear make up sunglasses, long sleeves, all the things to hide abuse. Now, thankfully, the younger generation of women aren’t putting up with this shit anymore. They’re not taking the blame, the abuser abuses, the victim does not get the blame and I am so here for it.

Once other women started speaking up it made other realize it wasn’t what they wanted either (whether they were single women or women in relationships). It especially shaped how young women move. The can call older women bitter but younger women are also not putting up with it.
