@lyssthepawfairy: In just 24 hours, I have to find a way to save Yara’s life. I understand that sometimes plans fall through, but when they do, it’s back to scrambling to put another one together. I refuse to give up on her. Yara can absolutely live in a home with other dogs—she just needs slow introductions. Young children are overwhelming for her, so she’d do best in an adult-only home or one with older, respectful kids. Yara came into the shelter as a stray, but no one ever came looking for her.
