When you go to the beach in Korea, most local people are somewhat covered up, usually wearing shorts and a t-shirt from what I’ve seen. So I always felt a bit uncomfortable being the only one in a bikini, and I’d at least keep some high-waisted shorts on at the beach, even when going in the water.
But this time I only wore the bikini and realized it’s really not a big deal at all, as long as YOU decide to be comfortable. I didn’t feel like any of the locals cared or judged me. It was all in my head. Felt kind of freeing.
So what I’m trying to say is: Going to the beach in Korea? Wear whatever swimsuit YOU’re comfortable in! 🫶🏻 . #whattowearinkorea #lifeinkorea #koreatravel
