yea absolutely not... party of 34... no heads up THAT close to closing... i would say.... "you're wait time... looks like you're looking at tomorrow... there's absolutely no way we can accommodate a party that large this close to closing without and still give everyone dining in this restaurant good service, please call ahead next time"

for three years in a row until this restaurant closes, we would have a walk in 40ish the day before thanksgiving. the first time, a lady walked in and said "we are going to have between 8 and 35." I am not fucking kidding. they had 42. it was a fucking nightmare every time but at least we expected it the third year.

this past weekend I walked into a restaurant the waiting area was PACKED with huge parties. I asked the poor host who was frazzled how long is the wait can I put my name in she’s like how many do you have. I said 3. She said oh there’s no wait for 3. The daggers in the eyes of the big party. 😅
