The photo was taken in 2007 after Spanish footballer Lamine Yamal's mother won a raffle organised by UNICEF and local newspaper sport, for her son to be photographed for a charity calendar. 19 years on, Messi and Lamine will be going head to head at the FIFA World Cup Final. "That photo is just crazy but this is life," Messi said. "He’s already one of the best players in the world at 19 years old and has a big opportunity to achieve something historic, but we'll do our absolute best to make sure that doesn’t happen this time around."
