It’s called the constitution officer. I noticed the way you kept saying you’re avoiding the fact that he is detained, but you put them in cuffs and searched them. He’s under arrest. By not saying what his status was you implied the status and any reasonable person would consider himself under arrest. Can’t demand an ID without a crime.
