"Live life to the fullest. Always live life happy." That's what my Mom and my Mamita have always told me. Growing up, they would remind me that whenever there's an opportunity to be happy, take it. Laugh a little louder. Dance a little longer. Say yes to the moments that make you feel alive, because life is shorter than we think. I used to hear those words without fully understanding them. But after almost losing my life twice, they mean everything to me now. Surviving changed the way I see the world. I no longer wait for the "perfect time" to celebrate, to chase dreams, or to create memories. Every ordinary day feels like a gift, and every chance to smile is one I don't want to waste. Now I understand what they meant when they said, "Always live life happy." It doesn't mean pretending everything is perfect. It means choosing joy whenever you can, appreciating the little things, and never taking another day for granted. So if you have a reason to be happy today, embrace it. Call the people you love. Take the trip. Dance even if no one's watching. Tell people how much they mean to you. Life isn't promised, but this moment is.
