As a man, I personally don’t give a shit what role women play. Growing up, I used to wish my sister like videos games so I would have someone to play with, so today, I’m just happy to see more women playing games at all.

women are socialized to play for the team and help that way. it’s not a “men want to provide and women want to nurture” because we’re wired that way. we have been SOCIALIZED that way. and also, when women are playing anything they’re told to go to supports/healers in like every genre of game ever. also, because of misogyny women are less likely to speak in team chats, so even though SO MANY women don’t play supports the guys wouldn’t know (especially since they will assume a man is the one doing well)

Been playing support since season 1 of overwatch. mainly cause nobody else wants to do it and I just like the kits more. I just like healer characters in any game, i play healer classes in dnd, aint got nothing to do with the fact that im a woman.
