Helping someone is actually about your own ego its so you can tell someone else that you helped them out so that others can view you as important and also so that you can have leverage over someone. Never ask for help do it yourself first heck even ask a stranger before asking someone you know.

It is my experience helping others actually helped me a lot, learning about most of these lessons. All the same it also taught me about learning to care more for myself. Nevertheless it remains to be said that there is true joy in giving to those who use your help to change themselves and their ways.

when its an adult child its so hard to not want to do as much as possible, because as a parent it was our role for many years to help them grow. So many end up living on the streets because family won't help
