people keep asking how my baby stays this calm at 8 months. alhamdulillah, it's not luck. it's 7 things I've been intentional about since day 1. 1️⃣. no screens. ever. except the occasional natural glance. I don't watch TV, so my baby doesn't either. 2️⃣. Quran from day one. it played during their naps as a newborn, it plays while they play now, and it's what they fall asleep to. 3️⃣. no overstimulating toys. nothing that lights up, dances or makes noise on its own. just household objects they explore and figure out themselves. 4️⃣. a calm environment, always. babies are naturally focused disrupt the calm, and you disrupt the focus. 5️⃣. no shouting, no loud laughter, no weird/adult jokes near them. their environment stays steady and predictable. 6️⃣. no phones when they're around. if they're up and near me, my attention is theirs. that's the rule in our home. 7️⃣. I let them be bored. sometimes they just stare at the ceiling, the fan, their own hands. boredom is where their wonder actually happens. none of this is really about discipline or routine. my baby is an amanah, a trust Allah placed in my hands. their fitrah was already pure and calm the day they were born. my only job is to protect it, not disturb it. everything I allow into their world becomes part of who they grow into. a calm baby is not born by chance. they are raised, intentionally, one ordinary day at a time, with niyyah behind every small choice. this is exactly how I'm protecting my amanah. maybe it helps you protect yours too. save this if you're raising a baby right now and follow along for more 🤍 #muslimah #islamicreminder #islamicparenting
