No but why can’t my TV just show the same dimensions as IMAX? I don’t care that it’s worse quality, it won’t be unbearable. Just move my black bars to the vertical axis instead of horizontal.

i havent seen the movie yet but habing seen ppl compare scenes of regular to IMAX this one stood out to me most... it's not always "clouds and a bit of hair" you're missing. in this shot the size comparison gets lost imo. i figure some other scenes would be just as more impactful in the full IMAX ratio instead of the regular widescreen
